What two days in Vegas reminded me about coaching

Real Coaches Summit 2027 - Presale Offer

I got back from the Real Coaches Summit 10 days ago, and I'm still thinking about it.

Here's what social media has done to our profession: it's convinced us there are camps. That coaches on one side of a camp hate coaches on the other… whether it's training or nutrition, everyone has their thing, and every conversation has to be a debate where someone is right or wrong.

In the room that goes away.

You sit across from people who train differently than you, coach nutrition clients differently than you, write programs differently than you, and you realize you're arguing about the 1%. We agree on 99% of what actually matters: that the person in front of you is the work, that integrity is the foundation, and that the goal is to make clients more capable of running their own lives.

Every presenter at Real Coaches gave their heart and soul to the audience. And then they stayed. Breakout sessions, shared meals, and conversations that ran long. Coaches telling stories about clients, about setbacks, about the parts of this work that don't make it onto Instagram. Empathy in real time. People who are actively trying to make each other better for the clients we serve.

I left with a full cup, real motivation, and a mission that feels sharper than when I arrived.

Here's the news: I'm speaking at Real Coaches Summit 2027.

I'll spend the next twelve months building a talk that earns its place alongside what those presenters did this year. That's the bar they set, and that's the bar I'm looking to raise (obviously 😁

If you're a coach who's serious about doing the work right, this is the conference to be in the room for. The exposure to people setting the bar in our field. The breakouts where conversations actually go somewhere. The connections that outlast the weekend.

It puts you in a better position to serve your clients, build your business, and stay in this work for the long haul.

Plus, it's Vegas. Stay an extra day. Eat well, see some things, and reset before you head home. Worth the price of admission on its own.

Presale tickets are now live, and they're much cheaper than what you'll pay closer to the date. If you're investing in your education this year, this is where to put it.

Grab your presale ticket:https://mentorship.realcoachessummit.com/presale-2027

I'll see you there.

Keep Raising the Bar,

Paul Oneid MS, MS, CSCS
